What is OnegShabbos.shop? 

OnegShabbos.shop was created from the dire straights of covid-19. For some time, Kollel Ateres Ami was home to the **amazing** Kollel Select Herring. Initially, the herring was simply some herring and onions. Slowly, over time, getting feedback every week, we tweaked the recipe. Added spices, added some peppers - until finally it was concluded that something amazing has been created. 

When Ateres Ami was forced suspend kiddush: we were devastated. People said to themselves, "Not only can we not go to shul, but we won't even have Kollel Select Herring this shabbos!". This could *NOT* be! 

That was when we decided to open OnegShabbos.shop - so that everyone would be able to partake in the delicious creation that they helped create over so many beautiful shabbosos.

Ice Cream and Caviar

So where did the ice cream and caviar come from? Here at OnegShabbos.shop, we wanted to offer items that would bring oneg shabbos to your table. Things that you might not find typically. Caviar is VERY expensive in local grocery stores, so we offer it for 30% less than you will find it ANYWHERE in store in Chicago. 
As for the ice cream, our very own Joe Albarino makes AMAZING ice cream, pareve ice cream! You've never had such amazing pareve flavors. This is another way to increase your shabbos oneg, or a wonderful gift for your host.
